Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how LaShiny ("we," "us," or "our"), operator of the ShinyAcquisition brand, handles information in connection with: (a) this website; (b) the ShinyAcquisition client portal used by our real estate clients; and (c) the lead forms and landing pages we operate for our advertising campaigns. Our services are intended for users in the United States.
1. Information You Provide
When you submit a form on this website (for example, to request our free resource), we collect the information you enter, which may include your name, phone number, and email address. When you book a call, the booking tool collects the details you provide to schedule it.
2. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the site, our hosting provider and the third-party tools below may log standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages viewed. We use a small value stored in your browser's local storage ("sotg_done") solely to remember that you have already completed our resource form so we do not show it to you again. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this website.
3. How We Use Information
- To send you the resource or information you requested.
- To contact you about your request and our services, and to schedule and confirm calls.
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Leads From Our Advertising Campaigns
If you submitted your information through one of our advertisements, lead forms, or landing pages (for example, a Facebook ad about buying or selling property), this section applies to you.
- What we collect: the details you enter on the form, such as your name, phone number, email address, and your property or financing preferences.
- How we use it: to contact you by phone, text message, or email in accordance with the consent you gave on the form; to understand and qualify your inquiry; and to connect you with the licensed real estate professional on whose behalf the campaign is run.
- Who we share it with: the real estate professional the campaign was run for, and the service providers listed in Section 6 that operate our systems. We do not sell your information.
- Opting out: you can stop communications at any time, reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us at the address in the Contact section, and we will stop contacting you.
5. Client Portal
Our real estate clients use the ShinyAcquisition portal to manage the leads and deals we deliver. If you are a client with a portal account:
- Account information: we store your name, email address, time zone, scheduling link, and billing references needed to run your account.
- CRM data: your leads, deals, tasks, properties, contacts, and billing records are stored in a Notion workspace connected to your account and cached in our database to keep the portal fast.
- Google Calendar (optional): if you connect Google Calendar, we store the access credentials needed to read and write your calendar events for meeting scheduling and sync. We use this access only for those features, and our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from Settings.
- Payments: billing is processed by Stripe. We never store your card numbers.
- Browser storage: the portal uses your browser's local storage for your login session, interface preferences, and cached data. This is strictly necessary for the portal to work; the portal contains no advertising or cross-site tracking.
- Backups: portal data is included in routine backups kept on a rolling schedule for disaster recovery.
6. Third-Party Services
Our website, portal, and campaigns rely on third-party services that may receive or process your information. Each operates under its own privacy policy:
- Tally , hosts and collects our website forms.
- Make.com , automation that delivers requested resources and operates our internal workflows.
- Calendly , the appointment-booking embed.
- Vercel , website and portal hosting and server logs.
- Supabase , the portal's database and login system.
- Notion , storage for client CRM data (leads, deals, tasks, properties, contacts, billing records).
- Stripe , payment processing for client billing.
- Google , calendar integration, reporting spreadsheets, and email delivery.
- Meta (Facebook) , runs the advertising campaigns and hosts the lead forms leads submit.
- Google Fonts, Font Awesome, and AOS , content delivery networks that serve fonts and scripts and may log your IP address as part of delivering those assets.
7. Email Communications
If you submit a form, we will email you the resource you requested and may follow up regarding our services. You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
8. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed above to operate our website, portal, and campaigns; with the real estate professional a campaign was run for (as described in Section 4); and where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
9. Data Retention
We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described here, then delete or anonymize it. Copies may persist temporarily in routine backups, which expire on a rolling schedule. You may request deletion at any time (see Contact).
10. Your Choices and Rights
You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have submitted by emailing us. You can also clear your browser's local storage at any time to remove the values described in Sections 2 and 5.
11. Children's Privacy
Our website, portal, and campaigns are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
12. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we handle, including access controls on the portal and its database. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Third-Party Links
Our pages may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and we will update the effective date above.
